Pasar Minggu Hospital is one of the biggest regional general hospitals in Jakarta. The Hospital has a built up land of around 21,000 m2 with 12 floors and 1 semi basement, and in total about 300 beds for patients.
The Architect designed this building keeping a few distinct concepts of design.
Green as a Forrest: This can be seen when we enter the hospital from the main street, there is a garden in front of the hospital. To match that the Architect chose ALUCOBOND®'s vibrant lime color for the facade of this building, because he wanted to blend the building with the nature besides having a practical advantage of having this Lime color which makes this hospital easy to find.
Organic flow: The Architect wanted to give a very natural organic vine-like shape to the facade and that can be seen on the facade with curves and flat design of the panels.
Environmental friendly: The design is not only very aesthetic in nature but also very functional. Design incoporated an element of solar shading on each floor using nicely designed fins in the same color as the facade.
All in all a beautiful rendition to a Hospital project.
